WRV Day at Sombrero Marsh

Wildlands Restoration Volunteers and Thorne are partnering to host an invasive weed management project at Sombrero Marsh. This event is a great opportunity for individuals and families of all ages. Older children (about age 8 and up) can work alongside parents, and Thorne educators will be available to provide environmental education activities for youth age 5-10, allowing parents with younger children who usually wouldn’t be able to attend to still participate in the event. This is a morning event (9-1pm) and we’ll have breakfast and lunch available for volunteers to enjoy!
