Head on out to the marsh to identify tracks, listen to songbirds, catch critters in a net, or just soak in the beauty from the gorgeous mountain views.

Sombrero Marsh Highlights:

  • Outdoor play and learning spaces, including interactive exhibits

  • Trail system with boardwalks
  • 45 acres of open space including both prairie and wetlands  


Fall/Winter Nature Play Area Hours:

The nature play area and surrounding outdoor spaces are open outside of our normal program hours from dawn to dusk.

  • Current hours- open to the public daily from dawn to dusk.
  • Please note that there are some construction projects taking place over the next couple of months that may restrict use in some areas, but there is still plenty of fun to be had!
