EdVenturer Club Bird Banding & Bagels

EdVenturer Club Parents and children, please join us at Sombrero Marsh for a special morning with our founder Oakleigh Thorne. For more than 75 years, Oak has been identifying and banding Boulder’s most beautiful songbirds, migratory birds, water fowl and sometimes raptors! And now you’ll get the chance to assist him! Sombrero Marsh is Boulder’s only natural water source, making it a unique birding location. Whether seeing a Cinnamon Teal is on your Birder Life List or you’re more interested in watching your child hold and band a bird, you won’t want to miss this special event.
