Spring Fest: April 19, 2024

Looking for something fun and FREE to do with your children on BVSD’s spring in-service day? Celebrate the coming of spring with Thorne! We will have nature crafts, face painting, nature explorations around the Sombrero Marsh with Thorne staff, and the chance to get your groove on with our favorite nature performers, Jeff & Paige. Make a day of it and pack a picnic lunch to enjoy while gazing at the majestic mountain views.

Registration is REQUIRED! Follow THIS LINK to register for your FREE tickets! Due to a construction project, vehicle parking and adult tickets are very limited this year. We’re offering guaranteed entry for anyone who bikes, buses, or gets dropped off at the event, even if they’re on the waitlist.

Schedule of Events:
10 am-11 am: Activities including bird-watching, nature crafts, face painting, dip netting in the mini wetland, and nature explorations around the marsh
11 am-noon: Concert by Jeff & Paige

This event will be outdoors, rain or shine.
