Thorne believes in a world where all youth experience the joy and wonder of connecting with nature. Time spent outside increases physical and mental well-being, builds social and emotional health, improves academic achievement, and builds the foundation for becoming a steward of the Earth. However, many youth and families in our community face barriers in accessing nature. Thorne is working alongside our network of partners to address this inequity and grow a community in which we ALL can reap the benefits of being in nature. than their peers, and we are working to address this inequity.

A bridge to nature is a bridge to a brighter future - for our community’s youth and for our planet!
