Help 329 Kids Experience the Magic of Nature with Project 329!

Project 329 is Thorne’s commitment to making sure that at least 329 kids can experience the freedom, adventure, and discovery of nature this summer. We’ve already awarded 250 scholarships—but we need your help to reach even more children. Make a donation today to help us get over the finish line and get more kids outside this summer.

There’s nothing like summer in Colorado…

The mix of adventure, freedom, and discovery set against clear blue skies and beautiful mountain landscapes provide the perfect opportunity for kids of all ages to connect with nature. Splashing in the creek, climbing on rocks, catching insects in the grass, and observing native wildlife all teach kids to love and respect the outdoors, help them understand their place in the world, and build skills and confidence that last a lifetime. Connecting with nature feels like a breath of fresh air, and now more than ever kids need that breath – an opportunity to slow down and connect with themselves and each other ensures that kids can simply be kids, even when life gets tough.

We know that being in nature, especially with a supportive community and nurturing mentors, has incredible power to make a person feel empowered, valued, and connected. Unfortunately, not all families in our community have the financial resources to participate in Thorne’s camp experiences. Because we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to connect with nature regardless of the systems they grew up in or the barriers they face, we offer scholarships to families so their kids can experience the joy and wonder of a Thorne summer camp.

This year, though, we are seeing a greater than ever need for scholarship funds to support our community.

That’s why we created Project 329, Thorne’s commitment to making sure that at least 329 kids can experience the freedom, adventure, and discovery of nature this summer. We’ve already awarded 250 scholarships—but we need your help to reach even more children.
