LONGMONT CAMPS: AGES 6-11
For nearly 70 years, Thorne has been a trusted choice for outdoor summer camps and every summer we see firsthand that KIDS GROW BETTER IN NATURE. Our Longmont day camps for children ages 6-11 take adventure to the next level, exploring some of Boulder County’s best open spaces. Campers dive into outdoor exploration, survival skills, nature art, and discovering local plants and animals—plus so much more! At Thorne, kids follow their passions, build confidence, and deepen their connection to nature, all while having an unforgettable summer of FUN. Join us for your child’s best summer yet!
Camp Schedule
Camps run from 9 am-3 pm Monday-Friday with the option to add Extended Care from 3 pm-5:30 pm.

Camp Meeting Location
Our camps are designed around home open space sites where campers will spend most of their time when they aren’t on field trips to other fabulous open spaces in Boulder County. Longmont camps have walking field trips and field trips via school bus.
