CAMP MEETING LOCATIONS

Thorne camps are based at home open spaces, with field trips by foot and bus to top Boulder County sites like Chautauqua, Coal Creek, and Betasso Preserve. Each location also features at least one visit per session from local Eco-Experts like Jeff Kagan of Jeff & Paige, My Nature Lab, Nature’s Educators, and more.

We choose meeting locations that offer great natural spaces for kids to explore, convenient family access, and safe shelters for extreme weather. Our educators bring fresh, inspiring ways to connect kids with nature in any setting, from backyard to backcountry.

FIELD TRIP SCHEDULE

Field trip schedules will be posted before your child’s camp begins. Though it doesn’t happen often, the field trip schedule is subject to change but the pickup and drop-off location will remain the same throughout your child’s camp.
