This summer camp is the first of its kind for Thorne Nature Experience!
We are inviting those youth ages 12-15 interested in taking their Earth stewardship to the next level to join us for this two-week camp where they will gain the skills to become a nature mentor while enjoying ALL the fun of summer camp. Our skilled instructors will lead fantastic adventures in Boulder County’s open spaces and instruction on environmental education and the Thorne approach to building Earth stewards through place-based and playful experiences.
This camp is best suited for campers who are going into 7th-11th grade. After attending the Outdoor Leaders-in-Training session, all campers will be eligible to become volunteer Student Teaching Assistants (STAs) to support our Thorne summer camp instructors in later summer camp sessions this summer and beyond.
Registration for this camp will involve an application process with several written questions. The application will open on 1/10/24 at 5 pm- CLICK HERE to apply.
