Erin Lucey

Erin (she/her/ella) joined Thorne in the summer of 2023 as a Summer Camp Instructor. After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Erin moved back to her hometown of Louisville, Colorado. She grew up playing along Coal Creek and in the foothills of Boulder and now has the pleasure of teaching kids in those very same places. Erin is a self-taught naturalist with a passion for osteology (the study of bones) and specimen conservation. For the past five years, Erin has worked as an arts and environmental educator. Her teaching approach embodies her belief that art and nature should be pursuits of joy and self-exploration.
